What’s Holding You Back ?

In my 25 years of experience, these are the most common barriers to effective estate planning that I’ve seen:

  1. you think it’s too expensive:

    • MYTH: Lawyers are expensive and building an estate plan costs a lot of money.

    • FACT: I work hard to keep simple estate plans inexpensive and easy. Complex estates will cost more, but in every case I will tell you exactly what it will cost before you ever hire me. I never bill by the hour. Also, doing the work now is much cheaper than waiting until after you’ve died.

  2. you think you don’t have the time:

    • MYTH: Estate planning is a time-consuming exercise that you just don’t have time for now.

    • FACT: I do all the work. Except for a couple of meetings and conversations with me, all you do is sign.

  3. you think you can do it yourself with an online form:

    • MYTH: Online forms are cheap and effective.

    • FACT: An online form won’t give you any guidance and almost never results in a plan that actually works. Besides, let’s be honest: online forms have been around for decades now. If you were going to use one, wouldn’t you have done it already?

  4. you think It’s too complicated:

    • MYTH: It’s just too hard.

    • FACT: Give me a free 15 to 30 minutes phone call and I’ll show you how easy it really is to get your estate plan organized and have that peace of mind you deserve. I’ve had 25 years experience learning how to make it simple.
